How far in advance should a bride book a wedding decorating company?
The average amount of time couples spend wedding planning is 12 months. If you just got engaged (and are pumped to start your research) we recommend couples book as soon as possible. Even if you’re not planning “I do” for another year or more. Spaces can book up 2 to 3 years in advance and if you’re looking for availability during peak wedding season (busiest time in bridal, extending from late spring and through early fall) you may miss out on the best of the best. 6 Months in advance may even be too late. This includes venues, florists, DJs, photographers, caterers and much more. When you think about it, there isn’t really such thing as booking “too early”— unless you’re a couple prone to changing your minds. You might as well lock in a great party spot and check that big to-do off your list!
Should a bride have a clear vision of her dream wedding before they contact you?
Event designers recommend brides know their wedding vision before doing anything else, however this is not required. We like to begin with a series of in-depth consultations. You will chat extensively with our talented designers who are dedicated to creating the wedding of your dreams.
Whether on the beach, in a ballroom or a private backyard – our weddings reflect the lifestyle and personalities of each couple. This allows even the simplest of designs to leave a lasting impression.
Should brides follow the current trends? Or challenge themselves to consider something different?
Over the last few years, we have seen a change in how couples want to plan their weddings by being more creative and sophisticated with requests. There are so many trends and they will keep you scrolling all day on Instagram and Pinterest!
This can make it difficult and overwhelming for brides. “Don’t stress” and remember it’s about you. Bring out your own style and own it because whatever the trends may be, it’s your day that matters and we will always be here to assist!

Venues are the main key to all vendors (that includes layouts, scheduling times for setting up and styling the venue, rules and regulations) as they will be there the whole day working with us and making sure everything is going smooth.
Should a bride have their wedding budget solidified?
When you picture your wedding, what do you see? A luxurious reception at a downtown loft? A backyard barbecue with all your friends and family? A classic ballroom reception? Whatever your wedding dreams are, it’s good to have a clear vision of how much money you can spend in each specific area. We recommend these few tips!
- Hire vendors when they’re offering a promotion.
- Weekdays wedding are less expensive than weekends. This will save you some money you can use later for your honeymoon.
